Pack and Move Service
Perhaps you did this one on your own, maybe even just partially. But if you enlist a full pack and move service, boxes are the first order of business. The crew will box all your smaller, loose items into 1.5, 3.0. and 4.5 cubic feet sized boxes. Fragile items such as fine china, kitchen breakables, and other delicate objects are boxed in double corrugated cardboard boxes and stuffed with packing paper. 

Furniture is carefully wrapped in thick, padded moving blankets and secured with tape and shrink wrap. Glass panes and other sensitive surfaces are reinforced with one to several layers of cardboard over the blanket to ensure durability. Any objects with moving parts are secured or disassembled if need be, as well as any objects too big to move safely through the premises. Our pack and move services will ensure your items get where they need to be safe and sound.

Loading  
As with packing, boxes are first in line to get on the truck. Walls of boxes are carefully stacked according to size, weight, and fragility. Once the boxes are clear and the crew has room to wrap furniture, strong, square shaped furniture like dressers are best. These act as both strong base and fasteners for the boxes behind them. As the remainder of lighter, more asymmetrical furniture is carefully stacked, some of the bigger, more oddly shaped items occupy the remainder of the truck. This is when the stacker's creativity shines. Each move is different and therefore require different solutions.

Driving

Accommodating your schedule without compromising the quality of your move is important to us, your packed truck will arrive the following day at a time of your choosing. During our drive, will we take the upmost care of your items to ensure nothing is damaged during transit. Whether you are moving near or far, you don't have to worry about your items during transport.

Unloading

Your level of preparedness is the greatest indicator for time of completion on the unload. Your crew will not need to meticulously stack your items, more of a grab and go situation, and therefore generally move faster than the load time. Some people have color coded maps with name tags on each room, others have no idea and simply want everything somewhere inside the property. Whatever the case may be, your crew is at your command.

Can your team disassemble and rebuild furniture, like my bed?
Of course! We are here to make things easy for you. We can perform almost any task required to ensure a fast, easy, and safe move. Your movers are at your service at an hourly rate, so please be mindful that the more you would like for us to do, the longer it will take

Do you provide wardrobe boxes, blankets, dollies, and tools?
YES! We provide complimentary equipment needed to provide a fast, easy and safe move. We also bring with us billable items such as cardboard boxes, tape, shrink wrap, mattress bags, floor protectors, and more. These items are billed only as they are used, if we do not use anything, there is no materials charge. 

What exactly is walk-through?
An estimate is only as comprehensive as it is informed. While we can get a good sense of your move over the phone or with an inventory list via email, there is no substitute for having a crew leader com to the start location and perform an in-home evaluation. We offer virtual walk-throughs as well!

How are estimates calculated?
Our representatives can calculate the load and unload times based on previous similar moves to your own, while taking into account any differences. We use the number of men needed multiplied by the number of hours required to complete your move, plus the drive time results in your in your estimate range.

How is drive time calculated?
Our calculations are based on the mileage and times Google Maps tells us. Drive time is calculated as a round trip, on average around 800 miles, however if you qualify, our small moves program reduces the amount of drive time you are responsible for, making for a more affordable moving solution. 

How do I know your estimates are accurate, and there will be no surprises in the end?
As a moving company that strives for superior expectation management, accuracy and clarity are paramount. After your walkthrough we will provide a “do-not-exceed” price point. We encourage you to compare estimates and proposals from at least 2-3 other companies, as it helps you understand the differences between companies. 

What time do you guys pick up and deliver my stuff?
That will depend on all the surrounding circumstances, including elevator reservations, parking restrictions, location, and of course, your itinerary. Most customers drive to their new location and you need time to do so. Please share your travel plans with us so we can take your needs into account.
